EAP Statement  Protecting Every Child:  A Global Call for Action Amid Humanitarian Crises

EAP

"Around the world, millions of children are caught in the crossfire of war, disaster, displacement, and climate-related emergencies. In these crises, children are often the most vulnerable — facing threats to their health, safety, education, and development. Too often, their specific needs are overlooked in emergency response and policy decisions.

This statement from the EAP is a global call to action: to place children at the heart of humanitarian preparedness and response. Together with EAP, we also urge governments, international organizations and society to commit to concrete, coordinated efforts that safeguard children’s rights, ensure access to essential services, and protect them from violence, exploitation, and neglect.
Every child deserves to grow up in safety. Everywhere. Protecting children is not just a moral duty, but our investment in the world's future."
