National acceptability survey on RSV prevention strategies

BAoP - BPCRN - RSV Task Force

Dear healthcare providers,

Dear colleagues,

Since last year, new preventive measures (maternal vaccination and monoclonal antibodies) have been available in Belgium to protect against RSV bronchiolitis, an infection which leads to the hospitalization of several thousand infants each winter in Belgium.

We would like to know how familiar you are with this disease and its consequences, and whether you support protecting your patients by the use of new strategies of prevention available.

To this end, we are conducting an opinion poll targeting healthcare providers caring for pregnant women and young children, including midwives, obstetricians, pediatricians, and general practitioners. Another section is dedicated to collecting parents' opinions.

Please help us by answering a few short questions via the secure Eval and Go link below.

The questionnaire is available in Dutch, French, and English and remains open until Novembre 2025.

It will only take 5 minutes.

This strictly anonymous survey is conducted by physicians without any pharmaceutical industry involvement. Its sole purpose is to better understand the expectations of both patients and healthcare providers regarding RSV prevention.

We value your opinion – thank you for participating!

Prs Sophie Blumental, Marc Raes and Levi Hoste,

For the research team of the National Paediatric RSV Task Force, the BAoP and the BPCRN.
