Belgian Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (bespghan)
Objectives
The association aims for:
- Promotion and dissemination of competences in the field of paediatric stomach, liver and nutrition diseases (child gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition)
- Develop and defend quality criteria that a paediatrician must meet, with additional competence in paediatric stomach and liver disorders
- Providing advice and expertise in the field of paediatric stomach, liver and nutrition diseases
- Promote contacts between practitioners working in the field of paediatric stomach and liver diseases
- Organizing post-university education in the field of paediatric stomach, liver and nutrition diseases
- Promote epidemiological research and clinical multicentre studies in the field of paediatric stomach, liver and nutrition diseases
- Enable contacts and exchange of experience between practitioners working in this field.
- Establishing post-university education in collaboration with the other initiatives in this field.
- Maintain and promote contacts with related scientific associations at home and abroad
